this year's festivities will be hard to top. our very own house to blanket in decor, pumpkin carving, hocus pocus, our sweet bat-dog, friends to share the evening with, complete with a scary movie & caramel apples, my husband in his from-scratch lego costume, and handfuls of little ones -despite the slight downpour- on our front porch shyly (and sometimes boldly) caroling "trick or treat."
it was the sweetest thing to share such a classic halloween with people that are so dear to me.
the life I live is a good one.
