"A portrait of my daughter once a week, every week, in 2014."
Darling Anabel. You spent your very first week in your first New Year working on growing your first teeth, and gnawing on all that you could get your hands on. You spent it with me, procrastinating all the things we need to do for the big move next month, while your dad worked his tail off 12+ hours daily, at work. You practiced rolling and rolling, and sitting upright, too. We spent the afternoons resting after long nights with one another, and outside playing fetch with the pup. This first week of January has been warmer than most, and I have loved rediscovering all things - big and small - through your bright, curious eyes.
